Travel like a Thai and explore the scents and colors of authentic markets

You will be transferred to Wongwian Yai train station. When the train leaves you almost drive through the living rooms and kitchens of the local people. Enjoy the view and the cheerful Thai people. The open fan-cooled 3rd class train with wooden benches takes you to Mahachai, the fish and spice market in Samut Sakhon. With a ferry you cross the Tha Chin River and you travel by 'commuter' train to the colorful Maeklong railway market in Samut Songkhram. When the train arrives, the umbrellas and carts are pushed aside and the “Thai Intercity” can pass without any problems. An unprecedented and photogenic spectacle for our standards. After visiting the market, you will continue your journey by car or minivan. After lunch you will make a stop in Amphawa and at Wat Bang Kung. This temple is surrounded by the roots of the tree! With an original samlor (rickshaw) you make a nice ride through the town of Tha Salong. Everywhere you see family businesses where people are busy processing shrimps, fish and lobsters into pasta, a Thai delicacy. Unfortunately, it's time to go back to Bangkok again.
