Discover the ancient cities of Lamphun and Lampang, which are full of Burmese-style temples and monuments. In Lampang you will find the world-famous elephant hospital, while the beautiful nature invites you to take the most beautiful walks.

Day 1: Chiang Mai - Lamphun - Lampang (approx. 100 km)

You travel to Lamphun by local train. Here you will board the waiting minivan for a visit to the impressive Wat Phra That Haripunchai. Afterwards you will visit the FAE's (Friends of Asian Elephants) elephant hospital. After lunch you will take a nice tour by horse and carriage through the old city center in Lampang. You will stay 1 night in a beautifully situated lodge.

Day 2: Lampang - Kew Lom Dam - Chae Son National Park - Chiang Mai (approx. 160 km)

After breakfast, drive to Kew Lom Dam and board your own private boat for a cruise across the lake. Then drive to the beautiful Chae Son National Park. Here you will take a jungle walk, starting at the hot springs located between the rock formations, to the 6 cascade waterfall. In the afternoon/evening you will return to Chiang Mai.
