Discovery Tour 6

Day 1: Bangkok - Night train to Surat Thani

After an early breakfast at your hotel, you will be taken to Chinatown, where you will discover all facets of this authentic and colorful neighborhood during an approximately 3-hour bike ride. With the ferry you cross the Chao Phraya River and also cycle through the city district of Thonburi with the skyline of Bangkok in the background. Afterwards you will be taken back to your hotel. In the afternoon you have a transfer to the station for the sleeper train to Surat Thani. You will stay here in a 2nd class air-conditioned carriage.

Day 2: Surat Thani - Khao Sok National Park (approx. 50 km)

In the morning you arrive in Surat Thani and transfer to the Khao Rok Rainforest Resort, located near the entrance of the Khao Sok National Park, one of the most impressive jungles of Southern Thailand. After lunch, an approximately 1-2 hour canoe trip or bamboo rafting on the Klong Sok River takes you through a unique piece of rainforest. You will stay 2 nights in the resort, where your dinner is also included.

Day 3: Khao Sok National Park

By long-tail boat you make an unforgettable day trip in an international group over the most beautiful lake in Southeast Asia, the gigantic Rajaphrapha reservoir, with majestic rock formations that rise vertically out of the water. Lunch is served on the lake in a floating restaurant. Here you can relax and swim in the clear water. You will also take a jungle walk and visit a cave and a floating lodge. In the afternoon, cruise back to the pier and drive to the resort. In the evening you will again have dinner here.

Day 4: Khao Sok National Park - Koh Samui (approx. 90 km)

In the morning you have a transfer to the ferry for the crossing to Koh Samui. You will stay 1 night in a resort located near the beach.

Day 5: Koh Samui

This tour ends after breakfast at your hotel. You can choose to extend this tour with a few more night's stay on Koh Samui or one of our many extension options.
