Explore the city of beautiful temples and the smells and colors of markets.

In the Doi Suthep-Doi Pui National Park, you will visit the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most famous temple in Northern Thailand, located at an altitude of almost 1,100m in the jungle, from where you have a magnificent view over the city and surroundings. Back in Chiang Mai, make a stop at Wat Suan Dok, outside the old city walls. Many chedis contain the ashes of Chiang Mai's former royal family. Afterwards you will visit the Kat Luang, Warorot and Lam Yai markets, centrally located on the Ping River, which together form the largest local market in Chiang Mai and provide the city with, among other things, fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers. After lunch, visit the majestic Wat Chedi Luang within the old city walls and the largest temple in the city, Wat Phra Singh.
