Bangkok Explorer 7: Floating Market and River Kwai
Full day tour / private tour / including lunch
Enjoy the largest floating market and a historical tour with several highlights.
Drive to Damnoen Saduak to visit the Floating Market, the largest and best-preserved floating market in Thailand. You make a trip by longtail boat so that you will arrive at the market while sailing. It is a beautiful spectacle to see how the proud Thai ladies manage to sell their merchandise in their boats. In Kanchanaburi you will visit the Allied War Cemetery and the Thailand-Burma Railway Center Museum. You will have lunch in a restaurant on the River Kwai. After a visit to the 'Bridge on the River Kwai' you continue through the beautiful landscape of Kanchanaburi Province. Then, board the 'Death Railway Train' for a ride on the infamous Death Railway. From the train you have a beautiful view. The highlight, however, is passing the so-called 'bamboo viaduct' over which the train moves at walking pace. You will be back in Bangkok at the end of the afternoon.
Prices are per person and on request.
